Spec-Wax is a highly versatile ribbon which provides reliable printing performance on coated and uncoated labels and tags, and vellum materials found in today’s global world of thermal transfer materials. Ideal for competitively priced applications such as shipping, product identification, distribution, logistics and retail. Our proprietary anti-static back coating formulation dissipates static electricity and works to protect and extend the life of our valuable printhead.

Wax ribbon is used in thermal label printers and formulated to print barcodes in picket fence or ladder orientation on coated paper material such as Semi-gloss, Transfer & Vellum. Resin enhanced formulations of the cost effective wax ribbon print up to 200mm per second and provide superior abrasion and chemical resistance when compared with standard wax ribbons.
